California to Paris

Oh to travel with your girlfriends. I really wish I had planned to do something like this with my friends when I was in college...there was that one time I took a trip to Southern California, but that kind of seems like nothing compared to a trip to Europe with your besties!  What a dream. I love these photos and how you almost feel like you've stepped back in time...minus the combat boots of course ;)

A Happy Place

















I have some really wonderful friends who let me into their home and follow them around for the afternoon taking a bunch of pictures.  I'm still not great at making the time feel organic for the family, but I don't think it was too painful of an experience for any of us. Thanks for letting me get in some photography practice, friends!  Also, you're beautiful.

The Italian Job








I've started dabbling in lifestyle photography and I'm loving it!  It's hard not to enjoy it when you're privileged to work with a couple who love each other so much it oozes into their family life.  They were such a joy to photograph because they absolutely adore one another.  Can't you tell!?  This darling couple has the best love story too.  She was studying in Italy and met him the last few days she was there- he was so smitten he had to visit her in America...and then never left.  And they all lived happily ever after.  *insert all the hearts and heart eyes here*

Pinecones and Needles










I've loved working with Anne at Pinecones and Needles. She is so passionate about this little {fabulous} shop she has created- and has only been open for about a year!  As soon as you walk into the store you're immediately overcome with peace and joy.  The lighting is bright, the air is wafting with gentle and natural aroma-therapy, and there's often French music quietly playing while you browse the shelves of delightful toys and art crafts.  Pinecones and Needles carries an array of unique European toys, and they do walk-in crafts everyday for adults and children. I want to buy up everything for the little darlings in my life. This store is truly a gem in the Boston area.
