Summertime Vibes

Aside from the 106° weather, we are feeling all the summertime vibes: swim lessons, outdoor camp, ballet class, sunscreen, farmer's markets, watermelon, staying up late, library visits, craft time, etc, etc. I just love this time of the year. Especially since we now live in a country where it's nearly a crime not to have air conditioning.

To add to our summertime deliciousness, I'm thinking I really need these rosemary grapefruit popsicles in my life. I've never thought homemade ones are as good as the store bought ones, but I've also never made them as an adult. Perhaps it's time for a go.

I am most definitely an Alison Roman fan girl, and this recipe is one reason why. If you haven't signed up for her email newsletter, you should. I love her simple, delicious, and (mostly) healthy recipes. And I love that she ends this episode asking you to make this dish for someone you love...so I did.

I have to confess, I am not a huge Joanna Gaines cookbook fan; however, these chocolate chip cookies are very easy, and everyone seems to like them. If you're in need of a quick and easy recipe, this is a good go-to. Straight from bowl to oven, you'll end up with thin, nevertheless, satisfying cookies (or maybe that was just my oven?).

My children did a very simplified version of this craft as a Father's Day gift (which is coming up on Sunday!). It was messy, but they had fun. The end result also makes for a cute home decoration.

Have you heard of Primary? I love their simple designs and colors. And they're having a PJ sale right now! AND they have grown up PJs too!

I hope your summer is going swimmingly ;)

xoxo,

Katrina
