#paristhisweek: Feels like Spring

Recently, I went through some old blog drafts that I never posted...there are a lot. And I found this charming, short entry that I wrote on March 15, 2018:

I know you're tired of hearing me talk about the weather in Paris, but it's honestly been one of the most surprising elements of the things I have had to adjust to when we moved here.  When you imagine Paris do you imagine 6 straight months of cold, rain and gloom? No. Nobody does.  Surely I mean Seattle, right? Yes.  And also Paris. Thankfully, this last week was so delightful. Many sunny days and the temperature almost reached 60 degrees. I was a happy mama.

Here's a little Parisian Eye Candy for you.

The weather was nice enough that the ice cream stand was set up outside of Luxembourg gardens, so my friend and I happily obliged during our walk.

The weather was nice enough for the kids to play at the playground.

We soaked up as much sun as we could.

Even Luxembourg boats were out.

I had a nice coffee from a nice coffee shop.

And was very tempted by these delectable treats at the same shop.

Oh look, a charming Parisian street.

Oh hey! Another one!

Years later, I feel the same sentiment. I'm ready for Spring. And you know I'm missing those charming streets.

Bisous tout le monde,

Katrina
